Our journey
Founding
Coodesh, Workdex's parent company, has assessed professionals since 2020 across Brazil and Latin America, integrated with various ATS platforms. The first three years focused entirely on tech talent; market demand then pushed Coodesh to expand into any type of role.
First enterprise demand
Co-founder and CEO Gabriel Ferreira spent 2025 and part of 2026 on the front line of sales, personally running enterprise accounts end to end. That closeness revealed a pattern: integrating Coodesh into other recruiting solutions was bureaucratic, and most of those platforms carried technical debt that made integration and good data use hard. That's where the first AI agents came from, built to run the entire selection flow at scale, without growing HR headcount, always leaving the final call to the company.
Workdex.ai is born as a Coodesh spin-off
The platform evolves into the complete hiring process: AI agents, AI interviews, anti-deepfake identity verification and background checks, for any role. Since the Coodesh brand already has strong penetration in the tech market, we chose to keep the two brands separate: Workdex also serves retail, healthcare, industry and banking. For now, access is invite-only, prioritizing existing Coodesh customers and select groups approaching this stage.
